Owner ~ Tan Choon Huat


Choon graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor's degree in
 informations systems and a master's degree in business administration. He had a wonderful and fulfilling career with Eli Lilly for 18 years. Choon had lived and worked in the US, China and Japan. His last assignment with Lilly was in Japan as the senior director and chief information officer of the affiliate.

 

In 2013, he decided to pursue his culinary interests. He enrolled at the world renowned French culinary school - Le Cordon Bleu and graduated with a Grand Diplôme in both French pastry and cuisine in 2014. He then started Spot Atelier in 2015 to hone his practice by baking and cooking for friends.  Choon now works as a personal patissier, cuisinier and trainer. He wants to bring delectable French inspired pastry and cuisine homemade to food lovers to celebrate special occasions.
